Assembly Instructions

1) The Long and Short legs will come pre-bolted together - orient these so you have the Short leg in the inside of the bench on both sides.
2) Stand the legs upright and get an assistant to hold them in position while you place the Seat on the top of the Short Legs. Make sure the bottom front edge of the Seat aligns with the edge of the Long Leg, then screw it in place using six 75mm Bugle Screws.
3) Fix the back rest to the back of the Long Legs using six 75mm Bugle Screws, making sure it is flush with the top of the Back Legs.
4) Fix an Arm to the front of a Long Leg at the point where there is a change of angle on the Long Leg. Use two 100mm Bugle Screws to go through the Arm and into the Long Leg. Then, use one 75mm Bugle Screw in from the Long Leg side into the Arm.
5) Repeat step 4 for the other Arm.
6) Using coarse sandpaper take any sharp edges off the timber. Alternatively use a router with a rounding bit.
Sealing the bench seat: To finish your bench seat, seal the timber with CD-50 to protect it from the elements.
