Our Macrocarpa
Cypress Sawmill is the best place in New Zealand to buy macrocarpa timber and products. We have a huge range of macrocarpa, ranging from macrocarpa landscape sleepers up to premium quality dry clears suitable for boat building, joinery, or furniture making. We supply macrocarpa to a wide variety of builders, merchants, home handyman, furniture makers, farmers, landscapers, the general public, and end users all over New Zealand.
Used indoors, macrocarpa is naturally resistant to borer and so will last virtually indefinitely, making it perfect for furniture, sarking, panelling, flooring, exposed beams, and rafters. Heartwood macrocarpa timber is a honey gold timber very similar in colour to Kauri, providing an attractive material for furniture, benchtops, panelling, and flooring.
Macrocarpa timber is also well suited to outdoor use, being naturally durable up to h3, and is an excellent cost-effective option for landscaping timber. Our organic untreated macrocarpa timber products are safe and perfectly suited for applications such as compost bins, garden beds, planter boxes, and tree stakes.

Boards are machined to a tongue and groove profile with a double 'V' so that the best side of the macrocarpa board can be used.
